• Account Information: Email address and name when you sign in with Apple or Google
• Vehicle Data: VIN numbers, fault codes, and diagnostic data from your vehicle
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous app usage metrics to improve the service (via Sentry)
• Subscription Data: Payment and subscription status (processed by Apple)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Providing and improving the BimmerFix diagnostic service
• Syncing your vehicle data across devices when signed in
• Sending important service updates and subscription notifications
• Debugging crashes and improving app stability

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in Germany (EU). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Vehicle diagnostic data is associated with your account but never sold to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: Authentication via Auth0
• Apple In-App Purchase: Subscription billing processed by Apple
• Sentry: Anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected]. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
